Analysis
This zoning change was requested by the Milwaukee County Department of Transportation and will allow a portion of 6141 North Hopkins Street to be joined with 6270 North Hopkins Street, zoned IL1, to facilitate the construction of a new fleet garage and for 6301-ADJ North 55th Street to be joined with 6141 North Hopkins Street.

Resolved, That the Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, do ordain as follows:

Part 1. That is added to the Milwaukee Code of Ordinances a new section to read as follows:

The zoning map is amended to change the zoning for the northeast portion of 6141 North Hopkins Street, Tax Key No. 157-9998-117, which is part of Lot 1 of CSM DCD #3408 from Parks (PK) to Industrial Light (IL1). Legal description as follows:

Part of Lot 1 of CSM 9308 and lands in the Northeast 1/4 of Section 26, Town 8 North, Range 21 East, in the city of Milwaukee, Milwaukee County, Wisconsin, bounded and described as follows:

Commencing at the Northeast corner of said 1/4 Section, thence S oo°29'26" E 1336.001 feet; thence S 88°35'59" W 60.008 feet to the Southeast corner of Lot 1, CSM 9308; thence S 88°35'59" W 243.886 feet along the south line of said CSM to the point of beginning of lands to be described; thence N 52°31'28" W 66.24 feet; thence 20.728 feet along the arc of a curve, whose center lies to the Southwest, whose radius is 30.908 feet, and whose chord bears N 71°44'10" W 20.34 feet; thence 89.939 feet along the arc of a curve whose center lies to the Northeast...
