Minutes note: The question was put: Have the members of the Common Council read the Report and Recommendations of the Licenses Committee and the exceptions filed in this matter? All members present indicated they had done so. The question was put: Is Stojan Coralic or his counsel present and, if so, does either wish to address the Council? Stojan Coralic was present by his attorney, Ronald Shikora. Ald. Bohl moved that the Common Council resolve itself into a committee of the whole for the purpose of hearing testimony in this matter. There was no objection. Attorney Ronald Shikora appeared and addressed the Common Council. Asst. City Attorney Bruce Schrimpf appeared and addressed the Common Council. Ald. Bohl moved that the Committee of the Whole rise. There was no objection.

Minutes note: Individuals appearing: Stojan Coralic, 3101 W. Coldspring Rd., Greenfield., Licensee Atty. Ronald Shikora, 161 W. Wisconsin Ave., Suite 3032, counsel for the applicant. Ald. Tony Zielinski, 14th District Alderman and complainant Ricardo Arteaga, Manager of the bar Atty. Shikora objects to the police report as he believes it is hearsay. The objection was noted. Neighborhood objectors present: Dale Trostorff, 2685 S. 13th St., owner of 3000 S. 13th St. He is in favor of the revocation. Robert Montemayor, 5770 Stephanie, Caledonia, owns 2873, 2014 and 2901-05 S. 13th St. He is in favor of the revocation. Any testimony from Mr. Trostorff and Mr. Montemayor that was hearsay is struck from the record. Stephen Robillard, 2949 S. 13th St., is in favor of the revocation. Ald. Kovac moves to make a video submitted by Mr. Robillard labeled "October 3, Brew House, Gunfire" part of the record. Prevailed 4-1. (Ald. Bohl voting "no") Atty. Whereas, The Licenses Committee received a notarized complaint from Alderman Tony Zielinski requesting the revocation of the Class "B" Tavern license of Stojan Coralic for the premises at 2936 South 13th Street ("The Brew House"); and
 
Whereas, The Licenses Committee held a hearing on January 19, 2010; and
 
Whereas, After considering the complaint, the neighborhood and police testimony, and the police report, the committee found that enough evidence existed to support revocation of the license; and
 
Whereas, The Licenses Committee approved the revocation of the license on January 19, 2010 by a vote of three (3) ayes, one (1) no and one (1) excused; now, therefore, be it
 
Resolved, That the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee hereby accepts the recommendation of the Licenses Committee for revocation of the Class "B" Tavern license of Stojan Coralic for the premises at 2936 South 13th Street ("The Brew House").
