Body
WHEREAS, the Housing Authority of the City of Milwaukee (Authority) solicited sealed bids by Official Notice Number 57982 during the period May 8, 2020 through May 22, 2020 for Public Construction Phase 3 Site Lighting at Westlawn Gardens Phase 2; and

WHEREAS, two sealed bids were received by the deadline of 2:00 PM (CDST) on May 22, 2020; and

WHEREAS, the sealed bids were received and publicly opened on May 22, 2020, during which bidding procedure was conducted in compliance with the requirements of local, state, and federal regulations; and

WHEREAS, Hurt Electric Inc., a qualified and competent bidder, submitted the lowest responsive and responsible bid in the amount of $298,800.00; therefore, be it,

RESOLVED, by the Commissioners of the Authority that they hereby authorize and approve accepting the bid of and entering into a contract with Hurt Electric Inc. for Public Construction Phase 3 Site Lighting at Westlawn Gardens Phase 2; and, be it

FURTHER RESOLVED, that funds for these services will come from the Authority’s Central Office Cost Center (COCC), Capital Fund Program (CFP), and the City of Milwaukee; and, be it

FURTHER RESOLVED, that the proper officers of the Authority be and hereby are authorized and directed to properly execute said contract for and on behalf of the Authority; and, be it

FURTHER RESOLVED, that if any extensions of the time of performance are needed, the Chairman and Secretary-Executive Director may approve such request without any further action of the Authority; and, be it

FURTHER RESOLVED, that all of above is contingent upon receiving the approval of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, if required; and, be it
