Title
A substitute ordinance relating to the establishment of a Shoreland-Wetland Overlay Zone, WL, known as Dineen Park, located on the south side of West Melvina Street and West Vienna Avenue, east of West Appleton Avenue, in the 10th Aldermanic District.
Analysis
This substitute ordinance establishes an overlay for Dineen Park as required by Section 295-1147 of the City of Milwaukee Zoning Code. A wetland delineation report prepared by Hey and Associates, Inc. and confirmed by the State of Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources notes an approximately 4.2-acre wetland on the site.

Resolved, That the Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee (“Common Council”), do ordain as follows:
Part 1. The zoning map is amended to establish a Shoreland-Wetland Overlay Zone, WL, for the properties located at: 3873 North 65th Street, Tax Key No. 264-0370-120; 6901 West Vienna Avenue, Tax Key No. 264-0414-110; and 7001 West Vienna Avenue, Tax Key No. 264-0605-111, the boundary of which is shown in Exhibit A.
Part 2. In accordance with the provisions of Section 295-1145 of the City of Milwaukee Zoning Code relating to the establishment of Shoreland-Wetland Overlay Zones, the Common Council approves the creation of an overlay zone for all wetlands that are 2 acres or more in area. A copy of the report on the Dineen Park Shoreland-Wetland Overlay is attached to this Common Council File as Exhibit A which is on file in the office of the City Clerk and made a part thereof as though fully set forth herein.
