Minutes note: Individuals present: Lynne Steffen - DNS Rich Schmidt - Treasurer Office Mr. Ronald Kelly represented Ms. Feagin The Department of Neighborhood Services does not object to the return of this property provided the applicant pays $2,450.00 in reinspection fees and $475.82 in litter nuisance fees, for a total of $2,925.82. The applicant has also indicated ownership interest in the following properties which have pending special charges: 3610-12 N 20th St Recording Enforcement Fee $1,125.00 2528 N 5th St Litter Cleanup $ 596.92 Reinspection Fee $ 100.00 Total $ 696.92 The total amount owed for all 3 properties is $4,747.74. These outstanding amounts ($4,747.74) need to be pay by noon on November 29th, or this file will be return to committee. Mr. Kelley stated that the property at 2528 N 5th has been included as part of the applicant filing for bankrupcy. Ald. Davis said that Mr. Kelly was actually requesting the outstanding fees for property at 2528 N 5th St to be waived. If in deed applicant has included this property in Bankrupcty, amount due should be $4,050.82. Property at 3703 N 22nd St Taxes fue if pay by November $12,156.96 if pay by December $12,235.00 Applicant also has interst on 3802 N 22nd St and 3610-12 N 20th St taxes are paid in full. Property at 2547 N 22th St has delinquent 2010 taxes due of $1,998.89 Property at 2528-30 N 5th St delinquent taxes from 2009- 2010 $15,996.20, taxes for 2009 currently at Kohn Law firm for collection . Mr. Schmitt stated that the treasurer's office has not receive anything indicating that property located at 2528 N 5th is in bankrupcy.

Permits return of property owned by the City under conditions imposed by s. 304-50, Milw. Code of Ordinances
Body
Whereas, The property located at 3703 N 22nd St, previously owned by Shavanaka Feagin by Ronald Kelly, has delinquent taxes for 2008-2010 and was foreclosed upon pursuant to Sec. 75.521, Wis. Stats., and a fee simple absolute was obtained in favor of the City of Milwaukee dated September 16110899; and

Whereas, Shavanaka Feagin by Ronald Kelly would like to reclaim said property by paying all City and County real estate taxes, plus accrued interest and penalties to date of payment, and all costs as sustained by the City in the foreclosing and management of said property since September 16; and

Whereas, Shavanaka Feagin by Ronald Kelly has agreed to pay all related city charges up until the point that the property is returned, as well as all charges and conditions which are detailed in the letters submitted by the Department of Neighborhood Services, Department of City Development, the Health Department and the Treasurer’s Office, as though set forth in this resolution; now, therefore, be it

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that in order to return the property at 3703 N 22nd St, a cashier's check must be submitted in the amount indicated by the City Treasurer within thirty (30) calendar days of the adoption of this resolution; and, be it

Further Resolved, That the City Attorney is then authorized to enter into a stipulation with the former owner to reopen and vacate the City's judgment in Milwaukee County Circuit Court Case No. 11CV7456 known as the 2011-01 In Rem Parcel 60, securing the court's order and recording said order with the Milwaukee County Register of Deeds; and, be it
