Analysis
This resolution directs the proper city officers to execute a Quit Claim Deed (QCD-2826) document conveying the sanitary and storm sewers located in vacated West Oklahoma Avenue between South 51st Street and a point four hundred and ninety (490) feet more or less west of the centerline of South 51st Street.
Body
Whereas, In 1951 the City of Milwaukee constructed a 8-inch diameter sanitary, a 12-inch diameter storm, and a 15-inch diameter storm sewer in West Oklahoma Avenue between South 51st Street and a point four hundred and ninety (490) feet more or less west of the centerline of South 51st Street; and

Whereas, On October 5, 1954 the City of Milwaukee vacated the northerly portion of West Oklahoma Avenue between South 51st Street and a point four hundred and ninety (490) feet more or less west of the centerline of South 51st Street; and

Whereas, Because of the vacation of a portion of West Oklahoma Avenue, the sanitary and storm sewers no longer serve the interest of the City of Milwaukee and should be released; and

Whereas, El Rey Properties, LLC has agreed to accept ownership of said portion of sewers; now, therefore, be it

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that the proper city officers are hereby authorized and directed to execute a Quit Claim Deed (QCD-2826), copies of which are attached to the Common Council resolution file number 110320 and incorporated in this resolution by reference as though set forth in full; and, be it

Further Resolved, That after said document have been executed by the proper city officers they shall be forwarded to the Office of the City Attorney for approval as to form and execution and then...
