Title

Resolution authorizing the Lease of the City of Milwaukee-owned property at 5529-31 West North Avenue to Uptown Crossing - BID 16, in the 10th Aldermanic District.

Analysis

This resolution authorizes the lease of the City of Milwaukee-owned property according to the conditions in a Land Disposition Report pursuant to Wis. Stat. 66.1333 (9).

Body

Whereas, Uptown Crossing - BID 16 (“Tenant”) desires to lease City of Milwaukee (“City”)-owned property for a park and community space per the Land Disposition Report, a copy of which is attached to this Common Council file; and

 

Whereas, The Department of City Development ("DCD") has reviewed the lease terms and prepared the Land Disposition Report and recommend approval; now, therefore, be it

 

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that the Common Council also approves the Land Disposition Report and the City’s lease to the Tenant of the City-owned property at 5529-31 West North Avenue as per the terms and conditions in the Land Disposition Report; and, be it

 

Further Resolved, That the lease proceeds shall be credited to the appropriate fund at the City of Milwaukee.
