Analysis

This resolution permits the City of Milwaukee to grant six temporary limited easements for a highway rehabilitation project.

Body

Whereas, The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) is undertaking a highway improvement project to improve STH 57 (North 20^th Street) and needs to acquire easement rights at six locations; and

Whereas, Lands needed for the improvements are owned by the City of Milwaukee; and

Whereas, the temporary limited easements totaling 0.014 acres of the various parcels is necessary for construction of ADA curb ramps and sidewalk replacement; and

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee that the Commissioner of the Department of City Development, or designee, is authorized to execute the easement, and other documents necessary to grant the temporary limited easement to the State of Wisconsin, and to take such further acts as are or may be necessary to effectuate this resolution.
