Analysis
This resolution authorizes the City of Milwaukee entry into Green Infrastructure Ten-Year Maintenance Covenants with Milwaukee Metropolitan Sewerage District at various locations.
Body
Whereas, The City of Milwaukee (City) constructed the following Green Infrastructure at various locations:

· One green alley bounded by West Villard Avenue, North 51st Street, West Fairmount Avenue, and North 53rd Street, in the 1st Aldermanic District
· Two green alleys bounded by West Burleigh Street, North 90th Street, West Chambers Street, and North 91st Street, in the 5th Aldermanic District
· Nineteen bioswales along West Bradley Road between North 51st Street and North 124th Street, in the 5th and 9th Aldermanic Districts
· Six bioswales along West Brown Deer Road between North 95th Street and North 124th Street, in the 9th Aldermanic District
· Three bioswales along West Keefe Avenue between North 60th Street and West Appleton Avenue, in the 10th Aldermanic District
· Eight permeable paver areas along West Dakota Street between South 11th Street and South 13th Street, in the 14th Aldermanic District; and

Whereas, The Green Infrastructure improvements will help divert stormwater from local sewerage systems; and

Whereas, The City was awarded Green Solutions grant funding from the Milwaukee Metropolitan Sewerage District (MMSD) for said improvements; and

Whereas, The Common Council has adopted the File Numbers 180393, 181694, 181695, and 181696, and 181697 authorizing the acceptance of said funding from MMSD; and

Whereas, The agreement for said funding stipulated that the City shall execute maintenance covenants in favor of MMSD; and
