Title
Substitute resolution rejecting all proposals for development of the former Army Reserve site at 2372 South Logan Street and authorizing a new request for proposals for development of the site.
Analysis
This resolution rejects all proposals for development of the City-owned property at 2372 South Logan Street and permits the City of Milwaukee to issue a new request for proposal. It is expected that the recent improvements in the housing market will contribute to a better selection of proposals for development of this site.

Whereas, The intent of the Common Council is to solicit more neighborhood input throughout a new Request for Proposal process; now, therefore, be it

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that all proposals for development of the former Army Reserve site at 2372 South Logan Street are rejected; and, be it

Further Resolved, That the Commissioner of DCD, or designee, is directed to advertise a new Request for Proposal and, upon receipt of development proposals, to make a recommendation to the Common Council...
