Title
Substitute resolution authorizing the Department of Employee Relations to extend the contract with Froedtert Workforce Health for the City’s wellness program, occupational health and clinic services.

Analysis
This resolution approves an extension of the current contract with Froedtert Workforce Health to provide comprehensive wellness programing, occupational health and pre-employment services as well as a variety of clinic services for the City of Milwaukee.

Body
Whereas, Common Council File Number 181717 authorized a contract extension with Froedtert Workforce Health through December 31, 2022 to provide the City’s wellness programming and onsite clinic services; and

Whereas, Common Council File Number 190532 authorized a contract amendment with Froedtert Workforce Health to include the provision of occupational health and pre-employment services for the City of Milwaukee; and

Whereas, The City of Milwaukee and the Wellness and Prevention Labor Management Committee remain very pleased with the services provided by Froedtert Workforce Health along with the high engagement rates and satisfaction of program participants; and

Whereas, Workforce Health will continue to have dedicated staff assigned to the City of Milwaukee who understand the unique needs of employees and their families and have a high level of trust from participants; and

Whereas, The contract parameters with Workforce Health allow for continued flexibility for program delivery to accommodate participant need and utilization demands; and

Whereas, Workforce Health, the City and its vendor partners have established strategic partnerships that allow for alignment, integration and implementation of key services; and

Whereas, Froedtert Workforce Health has agreed to a competitive fee structure with no significant fee changes for the term of the contract extension; now, therefore, be it
