Analysis

This ordinance provides that each elected official and appointee complete ethics and harassment training provided by the department of employee relations or its designee within 120 days of an election or appointment.

Body

The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee do ordain as follows:

 

Part 1. Section 303-5-14 of the code is created to read:

 

303-5. Standards of Conduct.

14. ETHICS AND HARASSMENT TRAINING REQUIRED. Each elected official and appointee shall complete ethics and harassment training provided by the department of employee relations or its designee within 120 days of election or appointment to office.
