Title
A substitute ordinance to further amend the 2021 offices and positions in the City Service.
Analysis
This substitute ordinance changes the offices and positions in the following departments:
Common Council - City Clerk, Employes’ Retirement System, Health Department, Library, Police Department
Body
The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee do ordain as follows:
Part 1. Part 1, Section 1 of ordinance File Number 200537 relative to offices and positions in the City Service is hereby amended as follows:
Under “Health Department, Community Health Division, Empowering Families of Milwaukee (EFM)”, delete seven positions of “Public Health Social Worker (E) (X)”, add seven positions of “Public Health Social Worker 3 (E) (X)”, and add one position of “Community Outreach Specialist (J)(X)”.
Under “Clinical Services Division, Laboratory”, delete one position “Assistant Lab Director”, delete one position “Chemist Supervisor”, and delete one position “Quality Assurance Specialist”.
Under “Environmental Health Division, Home Environmental Health”, add one position of “Home Environmental Health Manager (X)(Y)(EE)(QQ)”.
Under “Police Department”, amend footnote “(K)” to read as follows:
“(K) High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area (HIDTA) Grant. Position authority to expire if HIDTA funding and the HIDTA project are discontinued or until 12/31/22 unless the HIDTA grant is extended.”
Part 2. Part 1, Section 1 of ordinance File Number 200537 relative to offices and positions in the City Service is hereby amended as follows (Effective Pay Period 21, 2020 - October 3, 2020):
Under “Common Council - City Clerk, Television Services Section”, delete three positions of “Television Production Specialist II” and add three positions of “City Channel Production Specialist”.
