Analysis

This resolution approves a First Amendment to Lease Agreement between the City and US Cellular, for placement of PCS antennas at the City’s fire station at 5600 W. Oklahoma Ave. This amendment provides for a reconfiguration and upgrading of equipment installation, at this fire station.

 

Body

 

Whereas, The Common Council adopted Resolution File Number 010246 on July 17, 2001, approving a lease agreement with United States Cellular Operating Company LLC for placement of personal communications services (PCS) antennas at the fire station at 5600 W. Oklahoma Ave.; and

 

Whereas, The Department of Administration has been working with the the City Attorney’s Office to negotiate an amendment to the lease agreement with U.S. Cellular, relating to reconfiguration and upgrading of its equipment installation, at this fire station; now, therefore, be it

 

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that the Common Council approves a First Amendment to Lease Agreement between the City and United States Cellular Operating Company LLC, a copy of which is attached to this file; and, be it

 

Further Resolved, That the proper City officers are authorized to execute this amendment to the lease agreement on behalf of the City of Milwaukee.
