Resolution relative to the acceptance of 2019 Electronic Medical Record (EMR) grant funding available from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

Analysis
This grant authorizes the Health department to accept EMR funding in the amount of $50,000. There is no City Match. MHD will manage the project to ensure EMR interfaces meet the requirements of the Clinics, Laboratory, and Data & Evaluation.

Body
Whereas, The City of Milwaukee appears to be eligible for grant funds from the Center of Disease Control and Prevention (CDC); and

Whereas, The continued operation of this grant program from 01.01.2019 to 07.31.2019 would cost $50,000 and would be provided entirely by the grantor; now, therefore, be it

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that application of this grant from the CDC is authorized and the Health Department shall accept this grant without further approval unless the terms of the grant change as indicated in Milwaukee Code of Ordinances Section 304-81; and, be it

Further Resolved, That the City Comptroller is authorized to commit funds within the Project/Grant Parent of the 2019 Special Revenue Grant and Aid Project fund, the following amount for the project titled Immunization Grant:
