Analysis
This resolution amends a lease agreement with New Cingular Wireless PCS, LLC for the placement of personal communications services antennas at the Milwaukee Water Works facility located at 1235 North 57th Street which was authorized by Common Council Resolution File Number 001017 adopted on November 28, 2000, amended by Common Council Resolution File Number 050898 on November 15, 2005, and amended by Common Council Resolution File Number 151901 on May 24, 2016.

Whereas, The Common Council adopted Resolution 001017 adopted on November 28, 2000 approving a lease agreement with Telecorp, Inc. for the placement of personal communications services antennas at the Milwaukee Water Works facility located at 1235 North 57thStreet; and
Whereas, The Common Council adopted Resolution 050898 on November 15, 2005 approving a First Amendment with New Cingular Wireless PCS, LLC as successor-in-interest to Telecorp, Inc.; and
Whereas, The Common Council adopted Resolution 151901 on May 24, 2016 approving a Second Amendment with New Cingular Wireless PCS, LLC; and
Whereas, The Milwaukee Water Works, working with the City Attorney's Office, has negotiated a third amendment to the lease agreement; and
Whereas, This third amendment of the lease agreement between the City and New Cingular Wireless PCS, LLC for the placement of personal communications services antennas at Milwaukee Water Works facility located at 1235 North 57th Street, allows New Cingular Wireless PCS, LLC to upgrade its facilities and secures a long term commitment from New C...
