Analysis
This resolution authorizes engineering studies on projects which by City Charter are nonassessable. After design plans and estimates of costs have been prepared, a resolution authorizing construction will be submitted to the Common Council. The City cost for engineering these projects is estimated to be $2,129,000 with the total cost estimated to be $28,018,000.

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that it is necessary and in the public interest to do the following described improvements according to City specifications:

1st Aldermanic District

Alley between W. Fairmount Ave., N. 51st St. and N. 53rd St. (SM499180006): Install permeable pavers (Storm Water Quality - Nonassessable Water Quality Projects to meet TMDL Requirements -- $1,000). The total estimated cost for this project including the requested amount is $130,000. This project is anticipated to be completed during the 2018 construction season.

N. 11th St. - W. Birch Ave. to W. Silver Spring Dr. (WT410190674) Relaying water main.(Nonassessable Water Fund Budget Line 5010 -- $4,000; Nonassessable Water Fund Budget Line 6410 -- $11,000). The total estimated cost for this project including the requested amount is $115,000. This project is anticipated to be completed during the 2019 construction season.

N. 27th St.-W. Capitol Dr. to W. Roosevelt Dr. (SM499180008): Bioretention maintenance contract (Storm Water Quality - Nonassessable Water Quality Projects to meet TMDL Requirements -- $1,000).
