A substitute ordinance to further amend the 2016 offices and positions in the City Service.

Analysis
This substitute ordinance changes positions in the following departments:
Health Department, Police Department

Body
The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee do ordain as follows:

Part 1. Section 1 of ordinance File Number 150505 relative to offices and positions in the City Service is hereby amended as follows:

Under “Health Department”, amend footnote “(Q)” to read as follows:

“(Q) To expire 09/30/17 unless the FIT Families (WIC) from the State of Wisconsin Department of Health Services is extended.”

Under “Office of Violence Prevention”, add designation “(H)” to one position of “Violence Reduction and Prevention Program Director (X)(Y)”, add designation “(H)” to one position of “Violence Prevention Manager (X)(Y)”, add one position of “Program Assistant I (X)(H), and add footnote “(H)” to read as follows:

“(H) To expire 09/30/17 unless the Recast Milwaukee Project Grant is extended. Also partially funds one Violence Reduction and Prevention Program Director, and one Violence Prevention Manager.”

Part 2. Section 1 of ordinance File Number 150505 relative to offices and positions in the City Service is hereby amended as follows (Effective Pay Period 24, 2016 - November 6, 2016):

Under “Police Department, Open Records Section, delete one position of “Open Records Legal Advisor” and add one position of “Police Open Records Legal Advisor”.

Part 3. All ordinances or parts of ordinances contravening the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed.

Part 4. The provisions of Part 2 of this ordinance are deemed to be in force and effect from and after Pay Period 24, 2016 (November 6, 2016).
