Analysis
This resolution directs the City Comptroller to transfer funds and set up appropriate accounts for preliminary engineering for the three (3) connecting highway projects and one (1) bridge project (listed below) with Federal/State Aid. These projects are approved and included in the WISDOT’S current State Trunk Highway program for improvement. The City is responsible for 25% of the preliminary engineering costs on these projects in accordance with WISDOT policy. City costs for the construction of these projects will be dependent upon parking allowed. The estimated total cost of these projects is $29,848,000, of which the City’s share is $2,633,500 and the grantor’s share is $27,214,500. The total estimated preliminary engineering cost of these projects is $4,158,000, of which the City’s share is $1,039,500 and grantor’s share is $3,118,500.
