Analysis
This resolution directs the installation and construction of certain public improvements which have been determined to be nonassessable by the Commissioner of Public Works. The cost of the projects approved by this resolution is estimated to be $17,842,000, with the City share of $4,941,000 and the Grantor Share of $12,901,000. The total estimated cost of these projects is $23,511,000, with the City Share of $9,410,000 and the Grantor Share of $14,101,000.

Whereas, The Common Council of the City of Milwaukee adopted preliminary resolutions determining it necessary and in the public interest to construct nonassessable improvements; and

Whereas, Plans, specifications and cost estimates have been prepared for the following described improvements:

3rd Aldermanic District

E. Brady St. at N. Astor St. (ST211060177) File Number 051443: Remove and replace concrete curb and gutter, sidewalk and driveway approaches. (Nonassessable Reconstruction Paving Fund -- $32,000). The total estimated cost for this project including the requested amount is $35,000. This project is anticipated to be completed during the 2006 construction season.
