Analysis
This resolution authorizes and directs the Commissioner of Public Works to execute a Revised Project Agreement with the Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WISDOT) for the addition of project identification numbers which address the multiple phases of construction, apart from the street lighting phase, including landscaping and various other pedestrian amenities for the National Avenue enhancement between South 1st Street and South 12th Street including South 5th Street from West Virginia Street to West Washington Street and South 6th Street from West Virginia Street to West National Avenue. The City share of the enhancement project is $147,000.

Whereas, The Common Council of the City of Milwaukee adopted Resolution File Number 001200 authorizing and directing the Commissioner of Public Works to execute an agreement with the Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WISDOT) for design and construction of the National Avenue enhancement between South 1st Street and South 12th Street including South 5th Street from West Virginia Street to West Washington Street and South 6th Street from West Virginia Street to West National Avenue with 80% Federal and/or State aid under a Transportation Enhancement Grant; and
