Title
A substitute ordinance relating to parking controls.
Analysis
This ordinance establishes the above-mentioned parking requirements in various parts of the
City.
Body
The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee do ordain as follows:
Part 1. Section 101-23-2 of the Code relating to No Stopping is amended by adding the following:
On the south side of East Locust Street from North Bartlett Avenue to a point 50 feet west
On the south side of East Locust Street from North Newhall Street to a point 120 feet east
On the south side of East Locust Street from North Newhall Street to a point 70 feet west
On the south side of East Locust Street from a point 20 feet west of North Cambridge Street to a point 70 feet west of North Newhall Street except buses
On the south side of East Locust Street from a point 120 feet east of North Newhall Street to a point 100 feet east thereof on school days from 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM except buses
On the west side of North 94th Street from West Metcalf Place to a point 320 feet south on school days from 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM except buses
Part 2. Section 101-23-3 of the Code relating to No Parking is amended by striking the following:
“On the south side of East Locust Street from the west curb line of North Bartlett Avenue to a point 50 feet west thereof at any time”
“On the east side of South Allis Street from a point 563 feet north of the north curb line of East Lincoln Avenue to a point 182 feet north thereof at anytime”
“On North 32nd Street from a point 375 feet south of the south curb line of West Hampton Avenue to a point 90 feet further south thereof at any time”
“On the east side of North 32nd Street from a point 237 feet south of the south curb line of West Hampton Avenue to a point 115 feet further south thereof, from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM except Saturday and Sunday”
