This resolution authorizes the City of Milwaukee’s Department of Administration to accept, and execute grant agreements with the State of Wisconsin Department of Administration for, a subaward of the state’s allocation of the State and Local Fiscal Recovery Funds from the American Rescue Plan Act for a series of projects falling within the scope of the State’s Neighborhood Investment Fund Grant Program.

Whereas, The State of Wisconsin, Department of Administration has sub-awarded, in total, the amount of $15,000,000 from its State and Local Fiscal Recovery Fund American Rescue Plan Act allocation to the City of Milwaukee through the state’s Neighborhood Investment Fund Grant Program; and

Whereas, The subawards are for expenses incurred during the period from March 2021 through December 2024; and

Whereas, The subawards are for the following projects, in the amounts indicated (further details on each project are included in the document “MKE NIF Funded Project Chart” attached to this file):
