Title
Substitute ordinance relating to the change in zoning from Industrial-Light (IL1) to Two-Family Residential (RT2) on land located North of West Florist Avenue and East of North 73rd Street, in the 2nd Aldermanic District.
Analysis
This substitute ordinance rezones a parcel of land from Industrial-Light (IL1) to Two-Family Residential (RT2) on land located between 68th and 73rd Streets and Florist to Douglas Avenues.
Body
The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee do ordain as follows:
Part 1. There is added to the Milwaukee Code of Ordinances a new section to read as follows:
Section 295-501(2)(a).0001.
The zoning map is amended to change the zoning for that part of the Northwest 1/4 of Section 27, Township 8 North, Range 21 East, in the City of Milwaukee, County of Milwaukee, State of Wisconsin, bounded and described by:
Commencing at the Southeast corner of said 1/4 Section, said point being the beginning point of the land to be described; thence continuing North 00 deg. 47 min. 33 sec. East along the east line of said 1/4 Section 797.19 feet; thence North 89 deg. 03 min. 12 sec. West along the south line of the North 112 acres of said 1/4 Section 1655.83 feet to a point in the centerline of North 73rd Street; thence South 01 deg. 07 min. 17 sec. West along the centerline of said North 73rd Street 796.64 feet to a point in the centerline of West Florist Avenue; thence South 89 deg. 02 min. 03 sec. East along the centerline of said West Florist Avenue 1625.14 feet to the place of beginning, from Industrial-Light (IL1) to Two-Family Residential (RT2).
Part 2. This ordinance takes effect October 1, 2002.
