Analysis
The City of Milwaukee has established a goal of capturing 36 million gallons of stormwater capture through new green infrastructure by 2030 as part of the adopted 2019 Milwaukee Green Infrastructure Plan. The City reinforced its commitment to this goal as part of the recently-adopted Milwaukee Climate and Equity Plan. To help achieve those goals, this resolution authorizes the City of Milwaukee to execute a Green Infrastructure and Conservation Agreement (easement) with Fresh Coast Capital, LLC d/b/a Greenprint Partners for a green infrastructure project proposal, concept designs, associated planning documentation, and easement, compliant for the Milwaukee Metropolitan Sewerage District Fresh Coast Green Communities Program. The proposed green infrastructure project is located at1639 S. 23rd St. and the easement shall be in effect for a period of eleven years.

Whereas, On June 20, 2023, the Common Council adopted File Number 221233, approving and directing implementation of the City's Climate and Equity Plan after nearly four years of community engagement through the City-County Task Force on Climate and Economic Equity; and
