Analysis

This ordinance clarifies the circumstances under which full-time employees may receive full pay during military leaves of absence.

Body

The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee do ordain as follows:

 

Part 1. Section 350-36-2-b of the code is repealed and recreated to read:

 

350-36. Military and National Medical Disaster System Leave.

2. LEAVES FOR MILITARY TRAINING, NATIONAL MEDICAL DISASTER SYSTEM DEPLOYMENT, OR CIVIL DISTURBANCES.

 

b. Compensation. Permanent full-time employees of the city of Milwaukee shall receive full city pay during such leaves of absence for duty under par. a-1. This provision shall not include training or deployment on the Wisconsin Disaster Medical Assistance Team.
