Analysis

This zoning change was requested by Marquette University and will allow a mix of uses on the site.

Body

Resolved, That the Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, do ordain as follows:

 

Part 1. There is added to the Milwaukee Code of Ordinances a new section to read as follows:

 

The zoning map is amended to change the zoning for 521 North 8th Street, Tax Key No. 361-0850-110; 531-533 North 8th Street, Tax Key No. 361-0849-100; 533-547 North 9th Street, Tax Key No. 398-0117-210; 545 North James Lovell Street, Tax Key No. 361-0834-210; 547-adj North 9th Street, Tax Key No. 361-0834-112; 555 North James Lovell Street, Tax Key No. 361-0835-000; and 803 West Michigan Street, Tax Key No. 361-0840-111 from Institutional (TL) to Downtown Mixed Activity (C9G).
