This resolution authorizes the acceptance of donated event space and any additional related contributions from Zocalo Tavern for an informational meeting on food truck regulations.
Body
Whereas, There is community interest in creating additional food truck parks citywide, modeled after the success of Zocalo Tavern; and
Whereas, An informational meeting relating to food truck parks is scheduled for May 22, 2024, or another date, if necessary; and
Whereas, Zocalo Tavern intends to donate event space and additional related contributions to support an informational meeting on food truck regulations; now, therefore, be it
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that the City Clerk is authorized to accept this donation of event space and any additional contributions for an informational meeting relating to food truck regulations; and, be it
Further Resolved, That the proper City officials are authorized to enter into an agreement to effectuate the intent of this resolution.
