Analysis

This ordinance requires the city comptroller to phase out the use of external reimburseables in the city’s accounting policies no later than 2030, and report progress towards that goal to the common council on an annual basis.

The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee do ordain as follows:

 

304-1.  Duties of Comptroller.

 

6.                     The city comptroller shall eliminate the use of external reimbursables in city accounting practices by 2030 and shall annually report on his or her progress to the common council.
