Title

Resolution authorizing the lease of the City of Milwaukee-owned properties at 1335 West Becher Street and 1431 West Becher Street to St. Anthony and St. Hyacinth Catholic Parishes, in the 12th Aldermanic District.

Analysis

This resolution authorizes the lease of the City of Milwaukee-owned property according to the conditions in a Land Disposition Report pursuant to Wis. Stat. 66.1333 (9).

Body

Whereas, St. Anthony and St. Hyacinth Catholic Parishes (“Tenant”) desire to lease City of Milwaukee (“City”)-owned property for youth soccer programming and community green space per the Land Disposition Report, a copy of which is attached to this Common Council file; and

 

Whereas, The Department of City Development has reviewed the lease terms and prepared the Land Disposition Report and recommend approval; now, therefore, be it

 

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that the Common Council also approves the Land Disposition Report and the City’s lease to the Tenant of the City-owned property at 1335 West Becher Street and 1431 West Becher Street as per the terms and conditions in the Land Disposition Report; and, be it

 

Further Resolved, That the lease proceeds shall be credited to the appropriate fund at the City of Milwaukee.
