WHEREAS, the Housing Authority of the City of Milwaukee (Housing Authority) solicited sealed bids by Official Notice Number 58134 during the period April 5, 2024 through April 19, 2024 for Fiber Cement Siding for Single-Family Market-Rate Townhomes Phase 5C-1 at Westlawn Gardens Phase 2; and

WHEREAS, two (2) sealed bids were received by the deadline of 2:00 (CDST) on April 19, 2024; and

WHEREAS, the sealed bids were received and publicly opened on April 19, 2024, during which the bidding procedure was conducted in compliance with the requirements of local, state, and federal regulations; and

WHEREAS, Insulation Technologies, Inc., a qualified and competent bidder, submitted the lowest responsive and responsible bid in the amount of $337,167.00; therefore, be it,

RESOLVED, by the Commissioners of the Housing Authority that they hereby authorize and approve accepting the bid of and entering into a contract with Insulation Technologies, Inc. for Fiber Cement Siding for Single-Family Market-Rate Townhomes Phase 5C-1 at Westlawn Gardens Phase 2; and, be it

FURTHER RESOLVED, that funds for these services will come from the State of Wisconsin American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) and Housing Authority Non-Federal sources; and, be it

FURTHER RESOLVED, that the proper officers of the Housing Authority be and hereby are authorized and directed to properly execute said contract for and on behalf of the Housing Authority; and, be it
