A substitute ordinance relating to traffic controls.

Analysis

This ordinance establishes the above-mentioned traffic requirements in various parts of the City.

Body

The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee do ordain as follows:

Part 1.  Section 101-7-2 of the Code relating to Non-Intersection crosswalks is amended by striking the following:

“On West State Street approximately 750 feet west of the west curb line of North 41^st Street”

Part 2.  Section 101-7-2 of the Code relating to Non-Intersection crosswalks is amended by adding the following:

On West State Street approximately 570 feet west of North 41^st Street

Part 3.  Section 101-9.5 of the Code relating to No Loitering on Medians is amended by adding the following:

At the intersection of West O’Connor Street and South 68^th Street

At the intersection of West O’Connor Street and South 70^th Street

At the intersection of West Kearney Street and South 68^th Street

At the intersection of West Kearney Street and South 70^th Street

Part 4.  Section 101-15 of the Code relating to Yield signs is amended by striking the following:

“On West Cherry Street at North 21^st Street”

“On North 49^th Street at West Cherry Street”

“On North 49^th Street at West Galena Street”

“On North 50^th Street at West Vienna Avenue”

Part 5.  Section 101-16-1 of the Code relating to Stop signs is amended by adding the following:

On West Cherry Street at North 21^st Street

On North 49^th Street at West Cherry Street

On North 49^th Street at West Galena Street

On North 50^th Street at West Vienna Avenue

On North 73^rd Street at West Mt. Vernon Avenue
