Title
A substitute ordinance relating to the Burnham Park food peddler vehicle zone.
Analysis
This ordinance repeals the current type 2, density-limited Burnham Park food truck zone and establishes contiguous type 1 time-limited and type 2 density-limited food peddler zones over the same area. In addition, the ordinance establishes prescribed parking spaces within the Burnham Park food truck zone. Finally, the ordinance and its attachments also supersede all related attachments to Common Council File Number 220413, which established the original Burnham Park food truck zone. All changes take effect beginning June 1, 2025.

The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee do ordain as follows:
Part 1. Part 16 of Common Council File Number 220413, adopted May 5, 2023, is amended as follows:
1. A Downtown Type 1 Time-Limited Food Peddler Vehicle Zone.
>>2. A Burnham Park Type 2 Density-Limited Food Peddler Vehicle Zone.<<
Part 2. All attachments to Common Council File Number 220413, adopted May 5, 2023, relating to the Burnham Park Type 2 Density-Limited Food Truck Zone are superseded by the Limited Operation Food Peddler Vehicle Zones as described in the attachments to this file.
Part 3. The following Limited Operation Food Peddler Vehicle Zones are established as described in the attachments to this file and in accordance with the provisions of s. 68-37.
1. A Burnham Park Type 1 Time-Limited Food Peddler Vehicle Zone.
2. A Burnham Park Type 2 Density-Limited Food Peddler Vehicle Zone.
Part 4. This ordinance is effective June 1, 2025.
