Analysis
Newly appointed or employed individuals identified in the positions ordinance as subject to filing financial disclosure statements with the ethics board must file statements of economic interest within 21 days of appointment or employment.

This ordinance requires the election commission to provide a copy of the statement of economic interest filed by a candidate for elected office to the ethics board. Receipt by the ethics board of a copy of the elected candidate's statement of economic interest satisfies the requirement for filing.
