Title
Substitute ordinance to further amend the 2003 offices and positions in the City Service under control of the Common Council.

The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee do ordain as follows:
Part 1. Section 1 of ordinance File Number 020487 relative to offices and positions in the City Service is hereby amended as follows (Effective Pay Period 1, 2003 - December 22, 2002):
Under "Comptroller, Revenue and Cost Division" add one position of "Accounting Intern (0.5 FTE)(C)."
Part 2. Section 1 of ordinance File Number 020487 relative to offices and positions in the City Service is hereby amended as follows:
Under "Health Department, Administration Division", delete the title "Prenatal Outreach in Non-Traditional Sites Grant" and one position of "Health Access Assistant(X)(0.5 FTE)"; under "Southside Health Center" add one position of "Clinic Assistant (X)"; under "Maternal and Child Health Division, Immunization Action Plan Grant(DD)", delete one position of "Health Access Interpreter (DD)(X)"; under "Healthy Behaviors & Healthcare Access Division", delete the title "Early Childhood MPS Daycare Grant(II)" and two position of "Clinic Assistant(X)(II)"; under Home Environmental Health Division", delete the title "Lead Pilot Project Grant(E)" and delete one position of "Lead Hazard Prevention Manager(X)(E)(Y)", one position of "Lead Project Assistant(X)(E)", one position of "Office Assistant II(E)", two positions of "Lead Risk Assessor II(X)(E)" and one position of "Chemist II(E)"; under "Fight Asthma Milwaukee Allies Grant", add one position of "Office Assistant II(RR)" and amend footnote "(RR)" as follows: "To expire 12/31/03 unless the Fight Asthma Milwaukee Allies Grant, available from Children's Hospital of Wisconsin is extended"; under "Childhood Lead Poisoning Prevention Program(W)", delete one position of "Home Environmental Health Manager(W)(X)(Y)" and add one position of "Home Environmental Health Manager(X)(Y)"; under "Childhood Lead Detection Program(Z)", delete one position of "Office Assistant II(Z)" and add one position of "Office Assistant III(Z)"; under "CDBG Lead Grant(TT)", delete one position of "Lead Risk Assessor II(TT)(X)"; under "Home Environmental Health Division" add the title "Healthy Homes Demonstration Project Grant(ZZ)" and add one position of "Project Coordinator(X)(ZZ)", one position of "Environmental Health Specialist(X)(ZZ)" and one position of "Public Health Nurse(X)(ZZ)" and add footnote "(ZZ)" to read as follows: "To expire 08/31/05 unless the Healthy Homes Demonstration Project Grant, available from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development is extended"; under "Childhood Lead Poisoning Prevention Grant", delete one position of "Office Assistant II(W)(RR)" and add one position of "Office Assistant II(W)" and amend footnote "(B)" to read 12/31/03, footnote "(C)" to read 12/31/03, footnote "(D)" to read 5/15/05, delete footnote "(E)" in its entirety, amend footnote "(H)" to read 8/15/03, footnote "(L)" to read 7/31/03, delete footnote (Q) in its entirety and recreate it as follows: "To expire 8/31/03 unless the Bioterrorism Grant available from the State of Wisconsin Division of Health and Family Services is extended", amend footnote "(T)" to read 12/31/03, delete footnote "(AA)" in its entirely, delete footnote "(II)" in its entirety, amend footnote "(PP)" to read 12/31/03, footnote "(QQ)" to read 8/31/03, footnote "(TT)" to read 12/31/03, footnote "(WW)" to read 9/30/03 and footnote "(XX)" to read 4/1/04.
Part 3. All ordinances or parts of ordinances contravening the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed.
Part 4. The provisions of Part 1 of this ordinance are deemed to have been in force and effect from and after Pay Period 1, 2003 (December 22, 2002).
The provisions of all other parts of this ordinance are deemed to be in force and effect from and after the first day of the first pay period following passage and publication.
Part 5. This ordinance will take effect and be in force from and after its passage and publication.
