Title

Analysis

This resolution authorizes the City Clerk to expend up to $2,500 from the Community and Economic Development Committee Fund Special Purpose Account for the Beet Street Fall Festival, to be held on October 3 2026.

Body

Whereas, The Community and Economic Development Committee Fund Special Purpose Account is used to promote the City’s economic development programs; and

Whereas, The Beet Street Fall Festival is a family friendly event that celebrates the Fall season as well as local and international artists and which was designated as an official city event by Common Council File Number 260222; and

 

Whereas, The Festival will also host unique learning opportunities, citywide organizations, and a maker’s market; now, therefore, be it

 

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that the City Clerk is authorized to expend up to $2,500 from the 2026 Community and Economic Development Committee Fund Special Purpose Account No. 0001-1310-S123-006300 to support the Beet Street Fall Festival.
