Minutes note: - A letter has been drafted in support of the resolution. Chairman Jansen stated that it is a one page letter affirming
support for the committee and to be sent out to the entire Common Council body at some point. The letter is
available to anyone upon request. No motions were taken regarding the letter due to lack of quorum. | | | |

Minutes note: -Chairman Jansen reported that there is no meeting today. The meeting will be informally next week. Chairman
Jansen stated that he had an interest in training data and how the Milwaukee Police Department (MPD) was
trained. In particular, data reflecting the percentage of officers receiving various training during the year. More to

| | 7. | | Open Discussion-Committee or community questions
Minutes note: -Chairman Jansen asked if there were any questions. There were none. Chairman Jansen ended the meeting by
stating that the Committee was interested in a smooth transition with the survey and wanted to make sure that the
transition into starting the survey was as smooth as possible. Jansen stated that there were groups who were
interested in the survey contacting the CCC. Jansen will advise the CCC that those groups interested in conducting
the survey should wait for the formal RFP and BID process to be set up. Jansen reached out to the City Procurement
Office and was given information on drafting an RFP. The draft of the RFP is in the process of being completed. The
Committee and the City are committed to working together for the RFP to be completed in accordance with
expectations and requirements.
