Minutes note: Jerrel Kruschke and Danielle Rodriguez - DPW. Mr. Kruschke said that the City Hall foundation work will continue but that the entrance on Market St. will be reopening soon. He said that regarding the street lights, they are close to target and that they still recruiting municipal electricians. About the potholes he said that there are 2,000 requests to patch and, that they have implemented a pilot program with workers from other divisions to volunteer on Saturdays and that they expect to have up to 20 crews out by the end of the summer. Ms. Rodriguez said that they are almost 4,000 stumps behind. Both Ms. Rodriguez and Mr. Kruschke said that the department is struggling with its operations due the labor shortage and that they are actively working with the Mayor's office, partnering with MPS for the internship programs and that the hiring efforts continue.

Minutes note: Mr. Jerell Kruschke - DPW - Said that the speed hump requests for this year is about to end with the 60 speeds humps coming up on July 20th. He reported that a total of 270 speed humps will be approved and built this year. He added that any coming requests will be for the 2023 season at a cost of $6.50 per lineal foot since the ARPA funds have been used. Mr. Kruschke said that speed humps are popular because they are requested by the residents and that traffic circles are assessable projects as well at a cost of $4.60 per lineal foot. He said that the department is actively applying for grants and that the whole campaign to reduce the speed limits is about to come out.

Minutes note: Mr. Patrick Pauly from Water Works explained that pumping station will be completed on February 2023 (Deadline September 2023) and that the pipeline will be made by the same contractor that is building the Waukesha's portion starting in July 2022 from west to east. There was a presentation that could not be shared due technical difficulties but it has been added to the file.
