Atty. Emil Ovgiagele said that the City of Milwaukee does not have a calibrated system to approve licenses and made a plea for more specific notices and applications. Also said that his client have not received disciplinary actions since 2017 and that the items on the police report are not considered sufficient under the Wisconsin law. Added that no neighbors were present to testify and that he would like to see the license renewed without suspension.
Atty. Chris Hayden appeared on behalf of the applicant said that his client has lived in the city his entire life and that he has been a successful business man and that has done everything to keep this business safe and that all the reports from the police talk about being cooperative and supportive with the investigations and that the suspension was not mentioned on the notice and police reports.
