   1. Overview of City County Task Force and Structure of Working Group.

   2, Discussion on state of renewable energy market and regulation in Wisconsin.

Minutes note: Erick Shambarger discussed energy regulation in Wisconsin, the role of electric utilities and the Public Service Commission of Wisconsin. He noted We Energies clean energy plans as they had presented to the whole CCTFCEE. Pam Ritger discussed corporate sustainability goals and the desire of corporate buyers to procure renewable energy; Andrew Holmstrom discussed the need for green jobs for people of color; Ken Blaeske note the training role they play and their ability to meet Residence Preference Program requirements.

   3, Discussion on City of Milwaukee’s current “All of the Above” strategy on renewable energy.

Minutes note: Erick Shambarger described Mayor Barrett’s “All of the Above” solar strategy, including the role of rooftop solar and the role of utility scale solar. He noted the City’s participation in the Solar Now program at a landfill near the airport, and the need to look at the DRER tariff.

Minutes note: The group discussed a range of possible strategies: i. Using the DRER Tariff ii. Advocating for a new green tariff structure iii. Expanding Rooftop solar iv. Advocating for greater utility investment in renewable energy for all customers as part of their regulated structure v. Working with We energies on community solar vi. Virtual Power Purchase Agreements outside the DRER b. The group discussed bringing more corporate buyers into the “Education and Outreach” section of the Greening the Grid Report. c.
