Zamarripa nominated Cavalier Johnson for Common Council President. The roll was called in the matter of the election of the Common Council President. Ald. Cavalier Johnson was elected Common Council President by following vote: Johnson Kovac Bauman Zamarripa Murphy Perez Spiker Dimitrijevic Council members expressed their appreciation to their families, colleagues, staff for their support and collaboration in their careers as council members.
