Ald. Davis requests a color Neighborhood Stabilization Program 2 map for distribution to the council members at the upcoming Common Council meeting.
The Homebuyer Assistance Program is discussed. The program is targeted towards the purchase of foreclosed homes.
The Buy In Your Neighborhood program is discussed. This encourages homeowners in the neighborhood buying homes in their own neighborhoods to use as rental property.
Reprogramming funds involve reprogramming the use of vacant parcels in areas.
Ald. Witkowski requests that a memo be sent out to the individual council members to let them know what eligible foreclosed properties are in their districts.
Ald. Davis points out that the file gives the city the ability to apply for and accept funding from HUD under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act.
