Ms. Turim said that the City of Milwaukee has own this property since 2/21/19, since Mr. Rideout applied to vacate the foreclosure judgment. this item was scheduled for hearing on July 22, 2019, where he did not appeared. DCD inspector and Sheriffs department went to the property for inspection, and found people living in the property under conditions not suitable for use by public. Ms. Turim asked the committee that this return be denied in order for the Department to move on with its disposition strategy and be able to find a more suitable owner for this property. Based on Ms. Turim's testimony and request, Ald. Zielinski moved this return be denied.
