Ald. Murphy says that he is in support of the signage, in part because it is an existing sign and because an additional 30,000 dollars per year will go to the Zoo as part of the agreement.
In opposition:
Marty Wall, citizen who lives in District 10. He says that he is concerned about the number of signs in the area. He also says that Clear Channel is not a good corporate citizen and he is concerned that th new sign will dominate the intersection. Mr. Wall also expressed concern about the height of the sign.
Ms. Koster says that there is just a sign face change and the sign will not be any higher than the current incarnation.
