She stated that she will encourage them to submit an application if they are considering doing the project. - Karen Lindholm-Rynkiewicz - The New Water Parade which will include the renting of barges less than 12 ft tall due to bridges like the Wells Street Bridge. The barges and/or floats will exhibit active art and travel about 4 miles of the river. She stated that there are several artists willing to participate. She stated that they are asking the Arts Board to help promote the event, in the meantime they will continue to seek funding. The funding will help compensate the artists and performers. | | | |
