Jeffrey Smith - DPW stated that there is a "286" number available to call and they will respond the next day. He stated that currently, there is no correlation between the police department and DPW about car accidents and that it would be helpful to expedite the response time for cleaning remnants of accidents.
Ald. Bohl stated that it would be helpful to create a system automatically notify DPW when an accident occurs without placing the responsibility on the responding officer(s).
