     The Pledge of Allegiance was said followed by invocation from Rev. Stavr Dragan K. Veleusic of St. Sava Serbian Orthodox Cathedral. The question was put: Are there any corrections to the Common Council Journal of Proceedings for the regular meeting of November 2, 2015 and budget adoption meeting of January 18, 2017? There being none, the minutes of the meetings were approved without objection. Ald. Witkowski moves that the Common Council resolved itself into Committee of the Whole to hear a presentation. There were no objections. A presentation was made congratulating Ada Dziewanowska, accompanied by representatives of the Syrena Polish Folk Dance Ensemble, on the occasion of her 100th birthday and recognizing her many contributions to Milwaukee. Escorting Ms. Dziewanowska were Ald. Witkowski, Borkowski, Zielinski, Perez and Lewis. Ald. Borkowski moves that the Common Council rise from Committee of the Whole.
