     The Pledge of Allegiance was said and followed by invocation from Rev. Ian Burch of St. Mark’s Episcopal Church. The question was put: Are there any corrections to the Common Council Journal of Proceedings for the regular meeting of June 21, 2016? There being none, the minutes of the meeting were approved without objection. Ald. Rainey moved for the Common Council to resolve itself into committee of the whole for the purpose of making a presentation. There was no objection. Ms. Yvonne McCaskill was recognized for her accomplishments, leadership, community service, and being a recipient of the annual Women of Influence Awards from the Milwaukee Business Journal. Ms. McCaskill was escorted by Ald. Rainey, Coggs, Lewis, Bohl , and Johnson. Ald. Borkowski moved that the committee of the whole rises. There was no objection.     Video Video

Zielinski moved that the Common Council resolve itself into a Committee of the Whole for the purposes of hearing oral arguments on behalf of the complainant or the licenses in opposition to the report and recommendation and then a statement by the City Attorney.
