Minutes note: Ald. Nardelli proposed an amendment to delete parts 4 to 9, parts 12 and 13, part 16, parts 21 to 27 and parts 31 to 94, thereby deleting the imposition of a $3 processing fee for various building code and public works license and permits. Ald. Henningsen offered said amendment and moved for its approval. Failed. Ayes: 0 Noes: 5 - Ald. Murphy, Hines, D'Amato, Henningsen and Gordon Ald. Nardelli further proposed an amendment by deleting part 112, thereby providing that effective January 1, 2003, that the calculation of the local sewerage charge will be based on water consumption for the winter quarter (min. 21 cubic feet) Ald. D'Amato moved to amend to include "Winter Quarter" shall mean the quarter ending in Feb., March or April. In the event the winter quarter water consumption in 21 ccf or less then 21 ccf or the actual water consumption, whichever is less, shall be the basis of the sewer use charge in any of the 3 subsequent quarterly billing periods. Ald. D'Amato offered said amendment and moved for its adoption. Prevailed. Ald. D'Amato moved for adoption of substitute 1 as amended. Ayes: 5 - Ald. Murphy, Hines, D'Amato, Henningsen and Gordon Noes: 0 Ald. Murphy moved to reconsider. Prevailed. Ald.
