Ald. Dimitrijevic requested a memo from Municipal Court on entertaining the incarceration of repeat offenders for nonpayment of fines, particularly citations related to reckless driving and speeding.
Ald. Murphy requested LRB to draft a letter on the alders' behalf for the Municipal Court Chief Judge and the City Attorney to respond to on the legality and most permissible way to address repeat driving offenders and to hold them accountable for their offenses.
Ald. Stamper requested demographic data on traffic citations based on location and zip code.
